K40 or Similar Spike Blade Bed - Bed Replacement Laser Engraver

Description

This is a replacement bed for K40 or equivalent laser engravers/cutters.  Assembled, this item measures 13 inches wide x 10.5 inches long and is 1/2 inch tall.
Made from 0.032" aluminum, the spike blades are thin and therefore reduce the amount of back flash that occurs on the back of laser cut parts.  There is very little surface area touching the material compared to the original bed or even aftermarket honeycomb beds.
You will likely need to remove your stock bed in order to use this.  A common practice is to remove the stock bed and place the new bed on an adjustable lab jack or similar platform.
This is light weight and can be easily removed if needed.

Item ships in kit form.  There are 29 total pieces and can be assembled without tools in just a few minutes.
