REBUILT ORIGINAL HIGH OUTPUT charger/ CORONET/belvedere/dart/barracuda/FURY/CHRYSLER OR ANY 318/273/383-413/440 ENGINES .FOR AC OR NON AC CARS.....THESE ARE 72-75 "SQUARE" BACK ORIGINAL MOPAR ALTERNATORS BUILT WITH "SINGLE" FIELD to match your factory wiring FOR THESE YEAR CARS. TAKEN APART AND COMPLETELY REBUILT, THE CASE IS NOT PAINTED ONLY MEDIA BLASTED. LITTLE TO NO PITTING NEW BRUSHES, AND BEARINGS.. FULLY AND COMPLETELY TESTED.NOW THE REASON I SET UP THE LATER ONES TO ACCOMMODATE THE PRE 70 CARS WITH ONE WIRE FIELD IS THE OLDER "ROUND" BACKS ARE VERY UNRELIABLE AND DO NOT HAVE THE OUTPUT THAT THESE CAN PRODUCE. RIGHT AT IDLE THESE ALTERNATORS START AT 40-50 AMPS.. WHERE YOU NEED IT THE MOST!THEY ARE BUILT TO MAKE IT TO CLOSE TO 90 AMPS. BUT IT DEPENDS ON INTERNALS OF ALTERNATOR AND HOW EACH TEST OUT WHEN DONE, WAY BETTER THEN ORIGINAL 37 TO 45 AMPS.. WHILE NOT HIGH ENOUGH TO HURT YOUR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. BEST PART IS THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL MOPAR!!! 2 groove pulley is on them
There are 2 styles of the square back. Where the 2 half's come together. it can be fairly tight line or a 1 inch wide visible fixed stator band that you will see. Each performs as advertised. You might get either one. just depends on what I have on the shelf as I build them
YOU WILL NEED TO UPGRADE YOUR VOLTAGE REGULATOR TO THE ELECTRONIC ONE WHEN INSTALLING THIS ALTERNATOR.. DO NOT USE THE ORIGINAL POINTS STYLE. IT WILL NOT HANDLE THIS ALTERNATORS OUTPUT
WHY USE GM`S ALTERNATOR WHEN YOU CAN USE THIS ONE?? OR ANY CHINESE ONE FOR THAT MATTER!!!
