This is a new Universal 2-1/2" Stainless Steel Adjusting Rod.  Part # 2.5" tension rod
This quality adjusting rod features 3/8" eyelet rod ends for use with 3/8" diameter bolts or smaller when used with a shoulder bolt.  It offers 3/4" of adjustment on each end and has left and right hand threads for easy adjustment without needing to remove.
This handy adjusting rod is the same as the ones used on many aftermarket billet alternator, power steering, and a/c bracket kits and can be used in a variety of other ways on most custom and street rod applications including:  GM, Chevy, GMC, Olds, Cadillac, Pontiac, Buick, Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Mopar, Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth with 265 283 305 307 327 350 383 400 396 402 427 454 472 502 260 289 302 351W 347 352 360 390 406 427 428 429 460 351C 351M 400M 273 318 340 360 361 383 400 413 426W 440 455 330 326.
