Starters are completely disassembled and cleaned
Part are basted clean to remove all paint and corrosion
Field coils are tested, replaced or re-wraped with new insulated field coil wrapping
Armatures are tested on a growler and a
leakage tester.
Armatures are machined, Commutators are turned, undercut and re-polished and sprayed with an insulating varnish
Components parts are cleaned and or new parts are installed
Unit is painted with a quality finish
Starters are tested to insure proper performance.
Alternators are highly detailed to look new period correct
