✒ 1960's PILOT JAPAN CAPLESS Aluminum First Model FOUNTAIN PEN Original Box!!

From 1964 +/- a year or two, you don't often see 55 year old pens with the original box, instructions and perhaps warranty registration card?  Or perhaps receipt?  Black trim, aluminum body.
The box shows some wear and one side is torn, see pics, last one shows best.   But, it is 55 years old!!
The pen itself appears to be in very good condition, but is untested for writing.  It does click into place and retracts properly.  There is a logo? on the plunger in gold, I don't know what that would be for, perhaps the stationary store that sold the pen?  As well as an engraving that was extremely difficult to capture, it is very small, near the gold logo.  I believe its either "63 or 66" and "08 or C8".  I was hoping those might provide some clues, but I was not able to find anything after research.  These were produced in 1963 and I believe ended in 1965.  Perhaps 08 is August and its the year, 63 or 66?
