1940 to 1950 General Motors Delco Remy Generator 6 Volt Chevrolet Pontiac

Description

Used generator for a 1940 to 1950 GM product.  This Generator turns freely still, but I would imagine that it needs to be rebuilt before it is used.  It should be a good core for rebuild or parts to rebuild another.  It does have a badly bent terminal and dent in the pulley that can be seen in the pictures, the pulley is probably fixable the terminal probably not.  I have not tested it in anyway.  Unfortunately the tag is missing and I do not see any numbers punched into the housing so I do not know what its original application was.  It has a hand written tag on it that says 1940 to 1950 GM.  I would assume it is a 6 volt generator.  Please be sure of application before purchase.  It may be correct for several years and models of general motors cars.  If you need measurements or more pictures please ask.   Will ship in a medium flat rate box.
